The immobilizer system consists from passive приемоответчика (for the mutual identification), the key of the car mounted in a head, and antenna block SMARTRA (SMARt TRansponder Antenna).
Block SMARTRA includes the built in inductive aerial and the electronic schemes connected to the switch of ignition. Block SMARTRA is connected to the block of engine management by the special communication line.
Such way of management of block SMARTRA is most expedient, as engine start-up the engine management block operates.
Principle of action of system
The immobilizer system includes the engine management block, block SMARTRA and приемоответчик, built in the ignition key.
The engine management block carries out the identification of the ignition key by means of the special coding algorithm operating in parallel in приемоответчике and the block of engine management. Engine start-up is possible only at coincidence of results of action of algorithm. The data of all is stored in memory of the block of engine management приемоответчиков, applied on the car.
The block of engine management and block SMARTRA are informed among themselves on the special communication line. During action of this communication between the block of engine management and SMARTRA the line "To" of the block of engine management for other kinds of communication cannot be used, the engine management block establishes connection on a line "To" or with block SMARTRA, or with other devices (for example, with the verifying device at maintenance service) by inclusion of the multiplexer and start-up of special procedures of communication. The multiplexer — a part of hardware maintenance of the block of engine management. Block SMARTRA carries out communication through приемоответчик, built in the ignition key. Communication is established on a radio frequency 125 кГц. Block SMARTRA is placed on the ignition switch near to a frame send-receive radio antenna. Messages for serial communication, and engine management of the message arriving from the block will be transformed to the radio-frequency signal transferred through the aerial on приемоответчик.
Block SMARTRA does not spend the identification приемоответчика or calculation of algorithm of coding. It represents the advanced interface which will transform the data flow received on a radio frequency from приемоответчика to sequence of the messages which are given out on the block of engine management, and on the contrary.

Memory. Record procedure disposable, therefore приемоответчика it is impossible to change memory contents. The data is entered in the form of the chain in length of 9 byte made on manufacturer. After that programming memory приемоответчика is blocked also its contents begins impossible to consider or change. Приемоответчик passes from a condition "pure" "programmed" in a condition.
Besides, everyone приемоответчик is allocated by own identification number IDE in length of 32 bits. Numbers IDE приемоответчиков are unique (do not repeat). Number IDE is entered on manufacturer and can be read out only.
Опознаватель and the key password are not transferred from the engine management block on приемоответчик or back. Results of action of algorithm of coding are transferred only. By result of coding it is almost impossible to calculate the special data of the car.
