Combination of devices
Removal and installation
Disconnect a wire from the negative plug («–») the storage battery.
Remove a framework of a combination of devices, having turned away the fastening screw.

Take out a combination of devices from a nest, having turned away four screws of fastening (fig. 7.74).

Separate contact sockets of a combination of devices (fig. 7.75).
Installation is spent in an order, the return to removal.
Check of a technical condition
Speedometer
Check of correctness of indications of a speedometer should be spent at the special stand in the conditions of servicing deport of cars Hyundai.
At deterioration of tyres or a pressure deviation from norm the speedometer error increases in them (tab. 7.6).

Tachometre
Establish and connect a control tachometre according to the maintenance instruction.
THE PREVENTION
Polarity change at tachometre connection can lead to damage of its transistor and diodes.
At removal and tachometre installation try not to drop it and preserve against strong blows.

At the working engine compare indications of a control tachometre to indications of a regular tachometre. At excess of limits of the admission of measurements replace a tachometre (tab. 7.7).

The index of level of fuel
For working capacity check separate a contact socket of the gauge of level of fuel.
Attach a control lamp capacity of 3,4 Vt and working pressure 12 In to contacts «2» and «3» cable parts of a socket of the gauge of level of fuel.
Include ignition and be convinced that the control lamp lights up, and the arrow of the index of level of fuel moves to position «F» (a full tank).
The gauge of level of fuel
Check up an ohmmeter resistance between contacts «2» and «3» gauges at each position of a float («Е» – an empty tank; «1/2» – half of tank; «F» – a full tank) (tab. 7.8).
Check up smoothness of change of resistance at moving of a float from position «Е» to position «F».

The gauge of a reserve of fuel
Attach a control lamp (working pressure 12 In and capacity of 3,4 Vt) and the storage battery consistently to gauge conclusions. Ship the gauge in water.
At shipped in water термисторе the control lamp of the index should not to burn, at taken out from water — should burn.
THE NOTE
At malfunction replace the gauge of level of fuel in gathering.

THE PREVENTION
Upon termination of the given check wipe the gauge dry and establish it in a fuel tank.

The index of temperature of a cooling liquid
In a motor compartment disconnect a contact socket from the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid.
Include ignition and be convinced that the arrow of the index of temperature of a cooling liquid is in position "cold".
Switch off ignition.
Attach a control lamp (working pressure 12 In and capacity of 3,4 Vt) to contact of a cable part of a socket of the gauge and to "weight".
Include ignition. The control lamp should burn, and the arrow of the index to be in position "hot".
If the result of check does not correspond specified above, replace the temperature index, then again check up system.
The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid
Check up an ohmmeter resistance between contact «2» gauges and "weight".
If resistance does not correspond specified in tab. 7.9, replace the gauge.

The gauge of pressure of oil
At the idle engine be convinced available chains between contact of the gauge of pressure of oil and "weight".
At the working engine be convinced of absence of a chain between contact of the gauge and "weight".
If the result of check does not correspond specified above, replace the gauge.
Control lamp of pressure of oil
Disconnect a contact socket from the gauge of pressure of oil and connect contact of a wire of the gauge to "weight".
Include ignition and be convinced that the control lamp lights up. If the lamp does not burn, check up a lamp and wires.
The gauge of level of a brake liquid
Separate the socket of the gauge located on a tank of a brake liquid.
Pressing downwards the gauge (float) any core, be convinced available chains between contacts «1» and «2» gauges.
Control lamp of level of a brake liquid
Start up the engine. Switch off a lay brake.
Separate a socket of the gauge of level of a brake liquid.
Connect contacts of a cable part of a socket of the gauge to "weight".
Be convinced of fire of a control lamp.
The switch of a control lamp of lay brake system
The switch of a control lamp of a lay brake of press type (the trailer switch) is located under the lever of a lay brake. For adjustment of position of the switch it is necessary to move a switch arm upwards or downwards at the lever of a drive of lay brake system established in extreme bottom position.
Check up chain presence between a conclusion and the switch case at short circuit of contacts of the switch (at the top position of the lever of a drive of lay brake system).
Be convinced of absence of a chain between a conclusion and the switch case at disconnection of contacts of the switch (at the lowered lever of a drive of lay brake system).
At discrepancy of results of check specified above replace the switch or check up its connection with "weight".
The switch of a control lamp of not fastened seat belt
Separate a contact socket of the switch.
Check up chain presence between switch contacts.
At the clasped seat belt resistance should be equal to infinity.
At not fastened seat belt resistance should be equal to zero.
Control lamp of not fastened seat belt
At the included ignition check up work of a control lamp.
At the clasped seat belt the control lamp should not to burn.
At not fastened seat belt the control lamp should burn.
