The steering column and steering shaft of the cars equipped with the electroamplifier of a steering, are shown on fig. 5.13 and 5.14.
Removal
Disconnect "a minus" wire («–») from the storage battery.

Remove the module of a pillow of safety of the driver, having turned away the bolts of fastening shown by arrows on fig. 5.15.

       THE NOTE
On the car without a safety pillow remove facing of the switch of a sound signal.

Turn away a nut of fastening of a steering wheel (fig. 5.16).

Combine labels on a shaft of a steering and a steering wheel. Remove a steering wheel from a shaft by means of a stripper (fig. 5.17).

       THE NOTE
Do not remove a steering wheel hammer blows – so it is possible to damage a steering shaft.

Remove a facing casing of a steering column, having turned away three screws shown by arrows on fig. 5.18.
Separate contact sockets of a contact disk of the module of a pillow of safety and the block подрулевых switches.

Remove a steering shaft in gathering (fig. 5.23).
Check of a technical condition
Check up a steering shaft on presence of damages and deformation.
Check up shaft connections on presence of backlashes, damages and on smoothness of moving.
Check up the ball bearing on presence of deterioration and damages.
Analysis and assemblage
In need of antijoy ride device removal make a chisel a groove under шлиц screw-drivers on heads of special bolts of fastening.

Screw-driver turn away two special bolts of fastening (fig. 5.24).
Remove the antijoy ride device from a steering shaft.

At installation of the antijoy ride device acquire new special bolts kreple-nija the device to a steering shaft (fig. 5.25).
Tighten special bolts a wrench before cutting of heads.

Turn away fastening bolts (12 mm) bottom shaft to knot of a steering column and the top shaft (fig. 5.26).

Disconnect the bottom shaft from knot of a steering column and the top shaft of a steering (fig. 5.27).
Assemblage spend in an order, the return to dismantling.

Separate a contact socket of the electroamplifier of a steering (fig. 5.28).

Remove electroamplifier knot, having turned away three screws of fastening (fig. 5.29).
Assemblage spend in an order, the return to dismantling.
Installation
Establish into place a shaft of a steering and "acquire" four bolts of fastening.
Screw a fastening bolt карданного the shaft hinge to приводной to a gear wheel of the steering fur-nizma, located for a brake pedal.
Tighten four «наживленных» a bolt of fastening of a shaft of a steering.
Establish the bottom facing of the panel of devices and screw two bolts of fastening.
Establish on a steering column to защелкивания the block подрулевых switches.
Establish a contact disk of the module of a pillow of safety and connect a block socket подрулевых switches.
Establish the top and bottom facing casings of a steering column and screw fastening screws.
Establish a steering wheel and tighten a fastening nut.
Establish the module of a pillow of safety and wrap three bolts of fastening.
Attach "a minus" wire («–») to the storage battery.
